E-LEARNING DIRECTIONS:
E-Learning allows us to continue learning even when circumstances may prevent us from physically coming to school.
As all students are aware, I communicate with them daily through the use of Google Classroom (all announcements and assignments can be found there). In the event of an E-Learning Day, the same thing applies! Students should log into their Google Classroom page to find the announcements, along with directions, assignments, and even lesson videos. Just like at physical school, all completed work should be turned into me via email at [email protected].
In general, students will be expected to spend about 40-60 minutes on math on each E-Learning day. I will be available to answer any questions that students may have via email. Generally, if there is one E-Learning day, the task will typically be some sort of practice assignment(s) related to what was learned in class the day before. In the event of multiple E-Learning days, students will learn new material via the use of lesson videos that I (or the Viking math department) create. Students would be expected to watch the lesson video and take guided notes, just as they would during class. Then, students would work on a series of assignments related to the new concept learned.
